What is Tictric?
Tictric is a free daily puzzle website with four different games, each resetting at midnight with a new challenge. Think of it as a one-stop alternative to Wordle, NYT Connections, and Waffle — all in one place, completely free, and with full Arabic support.
No subscription, no sign-up, no paywall. Your streaks and stats are saved directly in your browser.
The Four Games Explained
🧇 WaffleTrick — The Daily Waffle Puzzle
All the correct letters are already on the board — but shuffled. Your job is to swap them into the right positions to form 5 words (3 across, 2 down) within 15 swaps. Green means correct position; yellow means wrong position. A great free alternative to the original Waffle game.
🔤 WordTrick — The Free Wordle Alternative
Guess the hidden 5-letter word in 6 attempts. After each guess, tiles reveal color hints: green (correct letter, correct position), yellow (correct letter, wrong position), grey (letter not in the word). Identical to Wordle but free forever, no paywall, and available in Arabic.
🔗 LinkTrick — Free Connections Game Alternative
16 words, 4 hidden groups of 4. Find what connects each group — the connection could be a category, a word pattern, a fill-in-the-blank, or something completely unexpected. You get 4 mistakes before the puzzle ends. A free alternative to NYT Connections, available in Arabic.
🔢 NumTrick — The Daily Math Equation Puzzle
Wordle meets arithmetic. Guess the hidden math equation in 6 tries — each guess must itself be a valid equation. Color clues work exactly like Wordle: green means right digit/operator in the right position, yellow means right value in the wrong position.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Tictric really free?
Yes, completely free. No premium tier, no subscription, no paywall on any game. Tictric is funded by non-intrusive display advertising.
Is Tictric a good Wordle alternative?
WordTrick follows the exact same format as Wordle — 5-letter word, 6 guesses, color feedback — but it's always free with no paywall. It also adds Arabic language support and tracks your streak and win statistics locally.
When do puzzles reset?
All four games reset every day at midnight local time. Miss a day and your streak resets — but your best streak is preserved.
Does Tictric support Arabic?
Yes. All four games have full Arabic support with right-to-left layout, Arabic word lists, and Arabic puzzle sets. Use the AR button in the navigation to switch. It's one of the only free daily puzzle sites with real Arabic language support.
How is Tictric different from NYT Games?
NYT Games requires a subscription to access Wordle, Connections, and other puzzles. Tictric offers similar gameplay completely free, with no account required, and with Arabic language support that NYT doesn't offer.
